I think the law did raised a lot of awareness for the people in the country. But the law does not necessarily stop the people from doing drugs and did not really solve the ROOTS of the problem in the country. If people are becoming addicted to the drugs, then they will do whatever they can as long as they can have the drugs, most of them will ignore the law. I think as a student in high school, what we can do is to PREVENT further more students who might become addicted to drugs . From the class presentations, I learned that people who did drugs usually had a really bad life so far that they need drugs to help them relax. Maybe we should establish some sort of program within school to encourage students to speak up their internal feelings and help them. Also, as a group we can write letter to a public authority to inform people about the issues we are facing now, thus it can increase more awareness within our district.
